Euonymus japonicus elegantissimus aureus
Description:
Euonymus japonicus 'Aureopictus' ( 'Aureus') is a colourful evergreen with glossy, dark green leaves with bright golden-yellow centres, providing year round colour and structure, especially useful in shade. Overall height 90-100cm (3-3.5ft) with a clear stem of 60-70cm (2-2.5ft). The head can be kept compact and in proportion by regular occasional trimming in spring and summer. The stem will not increase in height. If growing in a container, use John Innes No 3 potting compost and provide protection from severe cold in winter.
